The museum’s brief was to provide visitors with a unique and very new and contemporary museum experience. This was achieved with a wayfinding strategy using a n identifiable vernacular of shapes, colours and construction methods.
Inspired by shipbuilding techniques and the hand made signs created by the crew, the signage family sought to add to the user experience by adding a layer of detail and nautical character.
